George W. Holland

Holland, George W., age 85, retired Boeing Aircraft (Wichita) modification supervisor, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2007, after a brief illness. The family will receive friends Saturday evening, (tonight)beginning at 6 PM, with a Celebration Of Life Services following at 7 PM, both in the Garden Chapel of Watson Funeral Home. Pastor Marty Million of the Southside Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will follow at 3:00 PM Monday, in the Huntsville, Arkansas Cemetery. George was born on November 13, 1921, in Hindsville, Arkansas, to Will and Ollie (Lollar) Holland. He was preceded in death by his wife Jean, in 2004. He is survived by his son, Tommy Holland, of Wichita, KS, his grand-daughter, Emily Holland Carr, of Springdale, Arkansas, daughter, Marcia Morris, and her husband William Mercer Morris III, and their children, William Mercer Morris IV and Emma Michelle Morris, all of Jacksonville, Florida, and his longtime friend, Barbara Jenkinson, and her sons, Dr. John Jenkinson and Peter Jenkinson, all of Wichita, Kansas.
