Barbara M. Jones

Jones, Barbara May “Jonesy” (Randall), age 82, retired Sams Club employee, passed away April 2, 2011 after a short illness. Barbara was an avid quilter, seamstress, gardener, and knitter. She was extremely close to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved the noise and activity of family gatherings. Sitting around and laughing at the kitchen table was one of her favorite things. Barbara was the youngest and last surviving member of nine children. “Jonesy” so nicknamed by her granddaughter and great grandkids was a “tough ole broad” and will be dearly missed. The family would like to say a heartfelt “Thank You” to the entire staff and physicians at Via Christi SICU for their love and care of Jonsey. Private burial was Monday, April 4, 2011 at Kechi Cemetery. Memorial services are Thursday, April 7, 2011 6:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 13th and Broadway. Barbara was preceded in death by husband Paul K. Jones. Survived by daughter Mary Johnson (John), Grandson Andy Bulla, Granddaughter Nicol Fleming (Chris), and three Great grandchildren, Sara, Lynsey, and Josh and Izzy her beloved pet dog.
