Virginia D. Rasberry

Rasberry, Virginia, age 87, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2011 at Via Christi on St. Francis. Born November 16, 1923 in Milo, KS to Linda Quillen and Homer Loy, she graduated high school in Beverly, KS and entered nursing school at Asbury Hospital in Salina, KS. She married Gordon Rasberry in 1943 and had two children. Survived by Robert Rasberry (Sharol) and Judy Gillette (Chris). Other survivors: Kim Reynolds (Craig) and children, McKenna, Hunter, Gracyn, Tara; Robert Rasberry, Jr. (Lindsay) and children, Robby and Reide; Kristina Thielen (Tyler Chesky) and children, Andy, Maggie, and Alex; and special friends, Janet Haberman, Betty Martine, and Mary Williams. Memorial service will be held Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 11 a.m., Calvary United Methodist Church, 2525 N. Rock Rd. Memorials to the American Cancer Society, 818 N.
