William "Ed" Cogswell

William E. (Ed) Cogswell, beloved son, husband, and father, was born in Tulsa, OK on June 4, 1937, and passed away May 6, 2007. Ed, as he preferred to be called, attended schools at Ringwood and Maysville, Oklahoma. He served in the military from 1960 until 1962, stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He and Bobbie were married December 22, 1962, and moved to Wichita, KS. He was employed by Beechcraft from 1964 until he retired in 1999. Ed was an avid history buff and enjoyed reading about other places and times. He was preceded in death by his parents, L .W. and Charlotte Cogswell. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie and sons, William E. Jr., and Jason Blake Cogswell. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to The Kansas Humane Society, 4218 Southeast Blvd., Wichita, KS 67210.
