Martin, Wanda P. “Pat”, age 86, was welcomed “Home” by her Lord and Savior on Good Friday evening, April 22, 2011, surrounded by her loving family. The visitation will be held from 6 – 8 PM Wednesday, in the Garden Chapel of Watson Reflection Pointe, 3201 S. Webb Road, Wichita, KS with services scheduled for 3:00 PM Thursday, at the First Church of the Nazarene, 1400 East Kellogg Drive, Wichita, KS. She was a homemaker, Pastor’s wife and hostess extraordinaire. She is survived by her four children—Sherill (John) Hubert, William G. aka Jerry (Paula) Martin, Jr., Bev (Terry) Bryant, all of Andover, KS and Janis (Bruce) Munn of Overland Park, KS; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband William Gerald “Bill” Martin, Sr. and her grandson Christopher Ryan Munn. She was a very loving and caring wife, mother and Grandma Pat. She always enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and providing for her family. She started a tradition of a family Christmas Bake Day, and she will be greatly missed as the family carries on the tradition. Her family will always be grateful for the Christian heritage she has passed down to them, and her legacy will not only be carried on in this life, but will extend into eternity. Because of her great love for children, a Memorial has been established with the Wichita First Church of the Nazarene for the Children’s Department.
