Leo A. Heinze

Heinze, Leo A., age 77, ret.Wichita Public School Elementary Teacher, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2007. The family visitation gathering will be held from 6 - 8 PM Saturday, May 19, in the Garden Chapel of Watson Reflection Pointe, 3201 S. Webb Road. A private burial will follow. Leo was born on June 13, 1929, in Hillsboro, KS to Andrew and Molly (Steinert) Heinze. He married Irene Asetamy on June 6, 1952, in Indiahoma, OK. He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Irene, and 1 sister and 2 brothers. He is survived by his daughters, Janet Blaine, Carolyn (Randy) Mousley, Norma (Arthur) Ruiz, and son, Vernon Heinze, all of Wichita, brothers, Paul Heinze, Robert Heinze, sisters, Mildred Friesen, June Warkentin and Norma Goetz, 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Friends may remember Leo with a memorial of their choosing.
