Linda Ann Moyer

Moyer, Linda Ann (Sanborn), age 63, adored wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011, after a 5 1/2 year battle with ovarian cancer.  Linda was born on  July 26, 1947 to Calvin & Tessa Sanborn in Norton, KS.  Moved to Wichita in 1957 where she later attended South High School.  In February of 1968, she met Rick Moyer.  They fell in love and married on October 26 of that year.  They welcomed the first of two daughters on March 27, 1975 and named her Rachelle.  On March 11, 1979 their second daughter Mindie arrived.  She worked out of the home as a hair dress until 1987 when she started working at Boeing aircraft where she worked her way up to an inspector.  She retired in 2002.  On August 6, 1999 came the arrival of her first granddaughter Lauren.  On July 15, 2001 a grandson named Austin was born.  In August of 2011 she is expecting another grandson named Mason. She is survived by her loving family; husband, Rick; daughters, Rachelle (Brian) Reischmann, Cheney, KS, Mindie (Darin) Grundeman, Mulvane, KS; grandchildren, Lauren & Austin Reischmannn & Mason Grundeman, mother, Tessa Sanborn, Andover, KS; brother, Gil (Joyce) Sanborn, Wichita; sisters, Lana (Keene) Schaaf, Wichita, Gayle (Kevin) Mortimer, Carlisle, IA, Terri Sanborn and many nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family present will be from 2 – 4 PM Sunday (today) at Watson Reflection Pointe, 3201 S. Webb Rd.
