Velma L. McCabe

McCabe, Velma L., age 88, State of Kansas SRS Stenographer, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2007. The visitation with family and friends will be held from 4 - 6 PM Wednesday, in the Garden Chapel of Watson Reflection Pointe, with Funeral Services scheduled for 10:30 AM Thursday, at Pleasantview Baptist Church, Derby, Kansas. Burial will follow at 3:30 PM, in the Admire, Kansas Cemetery. Velma was born on May 24, 1918, in Saffordville, Kansas, to Alfred A. and Adeline L. (Erickson) Wright. She is survived by her daughters, Vicki Davis and her husband Bob, of Bellevue, Nebraska, Verona Hildebrand and her husband Phil, of Wichita, Vesper Dickerson and her husband Bob, of Winfield, Kansas, 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
