Turner, Wanda Lee (Scribner), 79, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, and Friend
died at home November 9, 2011. She found joy in Life and brought Joy to those
fortunate enough to know her. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Turner of
Cheney, KS; daughters Deborah (Earl) Dimmick, Murdock, KS and Monica (Larry)
Williams, Bel Aire, KS; two grandchildren, Rebecca and Kevin. We take comfort
that she has rejoined her best friend and husband Atlas and son Bruce. A
celebration of the Love and Life of Wanda and Atlas Turner will be held from 1-3
pm in the Alumni Lounge, Dugan Library and Campus Center, Newman University in
Wichita, KS on Saturday, November 19, 2011. Contributions may be made to the
Parkinson’s Research Foundation, American Diabetes Association or KS Humane
Society. They Will Be Missed.
