Herbert L. Moyer

Moyer, Herbert L., age 83, retired Cargil Industries elevator superintendent, passed away Friday, July 27, 2007. The visitation for friends to greet the family will be held from 5 - 8 PM Monday, with services scheduled for 1:00 PM Tuesday, both in the Garden Chapel of Watson Reflection Pointe, 3201 S. Webb Road. Burial will take place at 3:30 PM, in Harper, Kansas. Herbert was born on October 27, 1923, in Ulysses, Kansas to Percy and Edith (Landes) Moyer. On June 29, 1946, he married Florence A. Babcock here in Wichita. They just recently celebrated their 61st anniversary. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Omer and Scott Moyer, and grandson Thomas Ian Lupardus. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his sons, Leonard Moyer, of Springfield, MO, Bryan Moyer and his wife Lisa, of Wichita, daughters, Barbara Moyer, of Glen Carbon, IL, Patricia Holmes, Naomi Ruth Tate and her husband Darrell, sister, Billie Neal, of Wichita, grandchildren, Dawn and Sean Lupardus, Chris Sales, Justin, Cale, Nathan and Shane Moyer, Kerry and Michael A. Holmes, great-grandchildren, Brent Crenshaw, Diana Kopsas, Ian and Kyle Lupardus, Kyle, Jared and Janie Sales, and Westen Miller.
