Clayton W. Pearson

Pearson, Clayton W., age 88, ret. Haliburton Oil transportation driver, passed away Friday, August 10, 2007. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 AM Tuesday, in the Garden Chapel of Watson Reflection Pointe. Military Burial will follow at 3:00 PM in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Great Bend, KS. Clayton was born on August 12, 1919, to Albin and Nina (Footwrangler). He served his country in the United States Army during WW II and on August 7, 1946, he married Frances Ruth Nilson. They had just celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary. This past year, He and Frances moved to Wichita from Great Bend, KS. He is survived by his loving wife Frances, son, Clayton (Linda) Pearson, Jr., of Great Bend, daughters, Sue (Mike) Koch, of Rogers, AR, and Kay (Bob) Finn, of Wichita, 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Memorial has been established with the American Legion, Memorial Post #180, Great Bend, KS 67530.
