Smith, Carol J., age 63, Wichita Area Technical College English Instructor as a second language, passed away Friday, August 10, 2007. The Visitation with the family present will be held from 6 - 8 PM Wednesday, in the Garden Chapel of Watson Reflection Pointe, 3201 S. Webb Road, with services scheduled for 11:00 AM Thursday, at Central Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Delmar and Geneva (Harper) Hoppe, sister, Janette. Survived by her loving husband, Christopher, sons, Scott H. Johnson, of Dodge City, KS, Lcpl Eric C. Johnson, of 29 Palms, CA, daughters, Lani D. Smith, Kimberly J. Hernandez, Kristen R. Johnson, all of Wichita, Lori E. Carr, of Manhattan, KS, sister, Glenda Foster, of Peoria, IL, grandchildren, Katie, Jennifer, Sean, Lacey, Sara, Michelle, Christian, Sean, Brianna and Christina, great-grandchildren, Destin and Nevaeh, numerous nieces, nephews, WATC students, friends and special pets Sammy and Sadie.
