Kempkes, Henry F. (Hank), age 70, retired Trailways/Greyhound bus driver, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2005. The visitation with the family present will be held from 2 - 4 PM Sunday, in the Garden Chapel of Watson Funeral Home, with funeral services scheduled for 10:30 AM Monday, at Broadway Christian Church. Born on September 22, 1934, in Friend, NE, to Henry N. and Ann Kempkes. Preceded in death by his parents, brother, Franklin, and sister Darlene Jowers. Hank was united in marriage to Marge Glazier on December 7, 1985, at Broadway Christian Church. He is survived by his wife, Marge Glazier, son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Kim Kempkes, son, Kenny Kempkes, daughter and son-in-law, Val and Paul Skladzien, of Wichita, his favorite friend, Mugs, stepson and daughter-in-law, Larry and Carrie Glazier, stepdaughters, Kathy Carlson, of Las Vegas, Pat Noulett, of Elkmont, AL, brother and sister-in-law, Carlton and Jayne Kempkes, sisters, Evelyn Vavra and Kathryn Swiercinsky, grandchildren, Kenneth Kempkes, JR, Josh Henning, Amy Kempkes, Jarus Henning and Veronica Kempkes, Grand Dog, Sid. Step-grandchildren, Jamie, Jason, Sara, Amy, Tony, Brian, Ashley, Shelby and Jeanne. Great-grandchildren, Jaxton, Angel, Cody, Kale. God Son, Joel Vavra and God Daughter Lynette Uhrich.
