Williamson, Judy Z., age 53, had a peaceful passing after a courageous battle with cancer. Judy had many special gifts, but two of the most known by people who knew her were her continous generosity and thoughtfulness. She extended her heart and hand to many people in her short time here. Judy loved many things, such as car races, trips to different places and most of all, she loved baseball, her beloved Cardinals. She was retired from Wesley Medical Center after 29 years of service, mostly in the accounts department. She was a happy member of Alcoholics Anonymous, where she would have celebrated 23 years of sobriety in August. Judy was preceded in death by her father, Ernie E. Zuendel and her former husband, Richard W. Williamson II, (Rick). While married, Judy and Rick took many fishing trips, where she loved to go fishing at Table Rock Lake. She is survived by her mother, Phyllis A. Zuendel, of Wichita, many aunts and cousins in and around Wichita. Also, aunts and cousins in Florida, and many second cousins. Judy is also survived by her chosen son, Eric M. DeLeon, of Kansas City, and her special pet and friend, Girly. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM Monday, in the Garden Chapel of Watson Funeral Home, with the Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Judy's life scheduled for 10:30 AM Tuesday, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
