Lawrence A. Hooten

Hooten, Lawrence A., age 83, ret. Boeing Shipping Material Manager, passed away Friday, May 20, 2005. The visitation with the family will be held from 6-8 PM Monday, with services scheduled for 11:00 AM Tuesday, both in the Garden Chapel of Watson Funeral Home. Lawrence fought in WW II in the European Theatre with the 65th Infantry Division of Patton's 3rd Army. He was a member of the Bestor G. Brown Masonic Lodge, Wichita Scottish Rite, Midian Shrine Legion of Honor and was an avid bowler. He is survived by his sons, Timothy and his wife Nadine, Mark Hooten, daughter, Karen Billings and her husband Jim, all of Wichita, grandsons, Timothy Hooten and Jeffrey Hooten. Memorials have been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice and the Midian Shrine Plane of Mercy. Tributes may be sent to the family via watsonfuneral.com.
