Cole, Ressie F. (Carter), 89, died Thursday, May 26, 2005. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 31, 2005 in the Garden Chapel of Watson Funeral Home, 3201 S. Webb Rd. A family visitation will be Wednesday, June 1, from 6-8 PM at the Cox-Blevins Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas. Ressie was born July 1, 1915, in West Plains, Missouri to Henry and Sarah Goodwin. She married Roy Carter in 1933 and was blessed with 4 children. Preceding her in death was her husband, Ray, son Rudy (Bill), brothers, Ray, Earle, and Ernest Goodwin, sisters, Alma, Rosie, And Velma, and 3 grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Gary and Carl Carter, her daughter, Joan Thompson, 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Tributes may be sent to the famliy via www.watsonfuneral.com .
