McFeeters, Maria Neli (Torres-Acosta), 67, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister went home to the Lord on Monday, October 15, 2007. Visitation with the family will be 6 to 8 P M Tuesday, with services scheduled for Wednesday, at 1:00 PM, both in the Garden Chapel of Watson Reflection Pointe, 3201 S. Webb Rd. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonardo Torres and Marina Acosta and her brother, Elbin Torres. She is survived by her husband, Frank R. McFeeters, son, Michael (Julie) Sulanke of Edmond, OK, daughters, Lori (Rick) Stevens of Phoenix, AZ, Joni Sulanke of Derby, KS, brother, Audi (Lydia) Acosta of Lancaster, PA, sisters, Carmen (Don) Canavan of Belford, NJ, Antonia (Lugo) Torres of New York, NY, Carmen Nieves of Brooklyn, NY. 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her generosity, caring and thoughtfulness of others will always be remembered and she will live on in our hearts forever.
