Ilonka Borbely, 74, formerly of Zrenjanin,Yugoslavia a resident of Derby. Kansas, died Sunday, December 2, 2007, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice Inpatient, St. Francis.
Born April 19, 1933 in Zrenjanin, Ilonka was united in marriage to Mihaly Borbely .The couple was married for 47 years before Mihaly preceded her in death on February 12, 2001.
She is survived by her four children, Ildico Golightly, Monica Priest, Netty Schneider and Tony Matute; eight grandchildren Juan Miguel , Jesus A., Jose A. and Samantha Garcia, Brian Allen, Nicolle Watts, Annabelle and Michael Schneider, one great-grandson Cash K. Garcia, three sons- in- law: Glen, Tim and Dave and three grandchildren-in-law: Bonnie, Haley and Justin, other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007, at 4529 South Webb Rd, Derby, Kansas 67037. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate that donations be made in her name to the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice at 313 S. Market Street, Wichita, KS, 67202-3805.
