Ray O Moran, Jr.

Moran, Jr, Ray O, age 56, KOCH Mineral Services, Vice President of Engineering and Technology, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2005. A visitation with the family will be held from 7 - 8 PM Friday, in the Garden Chapel of Watson Funeral Home, with services scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, at the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 7011 E. 13th. Ray was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He served as a member of the bishopric in the Bel Aire Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Ray was an example of leadership and selfless service to all who knew him. During his valiant struggle with cancer, he lived by the mantra, "Until my work on earth is done, I am invincible." He was preceded in death by his father, Ray O. Gail Moran and step-father, Bill W. Dunn. He is survived by his wife, Betty Jeanne, sons, Kenneth Ray Moran and his wife Misti, Columbus, OH, Jared Moran, St. Petersburg, Russia, daughters, Jody Bradshaw and her husband David, Jamie Balderston and her husband Heath, all of Wichita, Kathy Prewitt and her husband Robert, of Houston, TX, mother, Willie Lee Moran, Coleman, OK, sisters, Dona Umble and her husband John, Margie McCarter and her husband Jamie, 6 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
