Donald L. Richardson

Richardson, Donald L., age 82, passed away April 9, 2013.  The visitation will be from 6 - 8 PM Sunday, at Watson Reflection Pointe and Crematory, 3201 S. Webb, with Funeral Services at 1:30 PM Monday, First Church of the Nazarene.  Don served as General Manager for Roe Messner Construction and Commercial Builders for 29 years, then as President of Ardesco Construction and most recently as a consultant for Legacy Builders. Don has served in many areas of the church over his 60 years with First Church of the Nazarene, including 5th grade boys Sunday School Class, basketball and softball coach, a men's Bible study and 38 years as a member of the Church Board. He was President of the Association of Nazarene Building Professionals. He enjoyed flying, snow skiing, teaching others to water ski and going on mission trips to Haiti and Nicaragua.  Don also served his country in the U S Navy.  He was preceded in death by his first wife Virginia in 1993.  He is survived by his wife Jan, sons, Dudley (Terie) Richardson, Benton, KS, Tyrun Richardson, Overland Park, KS, daughter, Brenda (Graydon) Dawson, Olathe, KS, brother, Kendall (Sharon) Richardson, Huffman, TX, Nolan (Bobbie) Richardson, Oakhurst, TX, sisters, Lucy Tangney, Shattuck, OK, Glenda (Marvin) Northcutt, Kalispell, MT, Gale (Danny) Sherrill, Tulsa, OK, 7 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild.   Memorial to Missions Work and Witness, c/o First Church of Nazarene, 1400 E.
