Adah F. Hale

Hale, Adah F., age 89, went to be with the Lord on October 14, 2013. Visitation hours will be from 12:00 noon to 8:00 PM Friday, with Funeral Services scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, at Watson Reflection Pointe, 3201 S. Webb. Preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters, Frances Akins, Lucille Akins, Pearl Akins and Elsie Zimmerman. Adah and her sisters were all career teachers, mostly in Wichita, each with over 40 years of service. Adah was devoted to her family and dedicated to life-long learning. Other interests included the Retired Teacher's Association, the Order of the Eastern Star and the Masonic Fraternity, and "talking politics". Survived by her husband of 66 years, Alfred, son, Dr. Hal (Cindy) Hale, grand-daughter, Courtney (Kyle) Hillard, grand-son, Tyson (Dr. Tara) Bean, Andover, grand-daughter, Jami Bean and her fiance' Gary McNett, sister, Lucy Doyle, also a techer with 40 years of service.
