Ron D. Syers

Syers, Ronald D. (Ron), age 43, passed away from this life on Monday, July 28, 2008. Visitation with the family present will be from 6 - 8 PM Friday, in the Garden Chapel of Watson Reflection Pointe, 3201 S. Webb Road, with services scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, at Westlink Christian Church, 2001 N. Maize Road. Graveside services will follow in Watson Reflection Pointe Cemetery. Ron was born and raised in Wichita. He graduated from West High School in 1983. In August 1989, he married Lauri Ann Baker. They had three beautiful children, of which Ron was actively involved in their lives. He went to work for Parks Motors of Augusta in 1996, where he was promoted to General Manager in 2003. Among several business honors in the automotive industry, Ron was named the second highest Sales Manager in the United States in 2006 and 2007. He also was an avid fundraiser for many children's sports. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Ron and Shirley Syers. Survivors include his wife, Lauri, sons, Joshua and Jordan, daughter, Marissa, all of Andover, sister, Donna (Ronnie) Richard, brother, Dennis (Ricki) Syers, both of Wichita, in-laws, Mary Ann and Charlie Hebert, Rick (Becky) Baker, Carol (Dean) Milligan, Janet (AJ) Lusch, aunts, Jama Carlton, Virginia (Charles) Lauderdale, and many other nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
