Fuller, James Riley, 76, retired Southern Baptist minister and United States Air Force Senior Master Sergeant, went to be in the presence of the Lord on Tuesday, August 5, 2008. Visitation with family, Friday, 6 to 8 p.m. in the Garden Chapel of Watson Reflection Pointe, 3201 S. Webb Rd. Celebration of Life service, 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Faith Baptist Church, Andover, Kansas. Mr. Fuller served from 1949-1971 in the US Air Force traveling the world, experiencing a wide range of cultures and serving his country while ministering to the needs of all peoples. Upon retiring from the military, he answered the call of ministry, pastoring in culturally diverse congregations including the Southeast Asian, Hispanic and Native American communities. Mr. Fuller’s commitment to helping others, spreading the gospel and telling stories never failed to cheer and entertain all those whose lives he touched. Preceded in death by his wife, Anna Ruth Fuller, parents, Roy Fuller and Marie Smitherman ; brother, Max Fuller, sister, Joyce Cook.
