Bennett, Charles H. 80, passed away Friday, Nov. 14, 2008. Visitation with the family one hour prior to service, Services, Wednesday, 1:30 p.m. in the Garden Chapel of Watson Funeral Home, burial in Reflection Pointe Cemetery, 3201 S. Webb Rd. Preceded in death by his father, Jesse Bennett, mother, Annabelle Bennett, step mother, Anye Skipper Bennett, brothers, William and Richard Bennett. Survivors, sons, Mark C. Bennett of Wichita, David M. Bennett of Central City, CO, step sons, Bob W. Gaither of Roanoke, VA, Michael L. Gaither of Barnsdall, OK, sister, Lillian Bennett Brown of Bellevidere, SC, niece, Kandy Davidson of Loganville, GA, and her family, other nieces and nephews. Ex wife, Terry Bennett Langford and husband J.J. of Wichita. Charles was a pilot in the US Air Force and worked many jobs over the years. He lived in Wyoming and Arizona prior to moving back to Wichita in July of 2000 with health problems. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Meridian Nursing and Rehab and Good Shepherd Hospice Care.
