Kenneth "Ken" P. Tompkins

Wichita - Tompkins, Kenneth P., age 66, passed away at Via Christi Saint Francis surrounded by his family on Saturday, January 31, 2015. He was born February 29, 1948, in Benton AR, the son of Houston and Opal Tompkins. On October 28, 1977 Kenneth and Judy Tompkins, were united in marriage in El Dorado, Kansas. Retired Inspector for Allied Laboratories for 12 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Houston Tompkins Jr., sister; Shelia Jean Tompkins. Survivors include: wife of 37 years, Judy Tompkins; daughters; Jamie (Darryl) Trotter, Shelia Tompkins, Shelly (Bill) Johnson, sons; Paul (Melissa) Tompkins, James (Shanda) Tompkins, Eddie (Brenda) Kile, sisters; Bonnie Glover, Marla Landers, brother; David Tompkins, 23 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Ken’s Life will be held 2 p.m. Monday February 2, 2015 at Reflection Pointe Garden Chapel 3201 S. Webb Road, Wichita, KS. Memorials are to St. Judes Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place
