Janice Kay Garten

Wichita - Garten, Janice K. “MeeMa”., age 66, passed away unexpectedly Friday, February 13, 2015. She was born March 31, 1948, in Summersville, Missouri to the late Blanche Sommerhauser and Quentin O. Pinnell. She is survived by older sister: Patricia (Ron) Smith, brother; Jack Mercer, daughter: Shelley Haukom, twin sons; Korey (Joi) Haukom, Karey (Clyannda) Haukom, grandchildren; Mark (Ellen) Haukom, Tyler Haukom, T.J. (Kayli) Leach, Lexi Leach, Audrey Haukom and Kirby Haukom, great grandchidren; Isabel, Maddox, and Silas Haukom. MeeMa as she was very affectionately known was looking forward to the birth of her third great grandson Andrue Leach in early April. MeeMa also leaves behind her favorite son in law Greg Leach and her adopted granddaughters: Keara Meehan, Mirranda Pelz and Briana Heiman. Visitation will be Monday February 16 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Reflection Pointe Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held 10am Tuesday February 17, 2015 at the Cedar Chapel Methodist Church 1140 E. 47th Street South
