Marian A. Weaver

Marian A. Weaver, 92, died December 18, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil E. Weaver in 1988; mother, Hazel Mosier; father, Royal Brigham; and sister, Alice Waterman. Prior to death, Marian and Virgil enjoyed overseas travel, Shocker backetball games, Music Theater of Wichita, and were both active long time members of the Community of Christ church. She was always active in many various organizations such as Christian Women’s Club, ACAP, Shepherd’s Center, Investment Club, as well as being a Sedgwick County Master Gardner and a very talented artist, painter, and sculptor. She is survived by daughter, Joane M. (David) Yee; son, Michael A. (Sondra) Weaver; granddaughter, Mandy (Brian) Sandbert; and great-granddaughter, Ava Grace Sandberg; grandson, Daymon Olson; great-granddaughter, Caitlin Olson; and great-grandson, Anthony Weaver.
