Violet Giesy, 85, aircraft worker, minister, and mom to the whole neighborhood went to be with Jesus on Monday, July 25, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born May 26, 1931 to Dewey and Bertha (Farmer) Coffman in Osage City, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Everett Giesy in 2007; daughter, Joyce Morgan; brothers, Sammy, Dale, Lester; and twin-sister, Verla. Violet is survived by her sons, Les (Cindy) Giesy, Bobby (Diana) Giesy, and Terry (Cherise) Giesy; son-in-law, Kent Morgan; brother, Rist Coffman; grandchildren, Austin, Crystal, Josh, Jason, Ryan, Nikki, Ryley, and Chad; 5 great-grandchildren; 8 nephews; and 4 nieces. Visitation: Friday, 6 to 8 pm. Funeral: 10:30 am, Saturday, July 30, 2016; both at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210.
