Douangchanh Linda Phengsy

Linda Phengsy, 59, passed away Friday, September 2, 2016. She was born April 14, 1957 in Vientiane, Laos.

She graduated from nursing in Vientiane, Laos. Married in 1978, has 3 daughters. Moved from Laos in 1979 to U.S. residing in Wichita, KS. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and the family dog, Chloe. She enjoyed watching Thai La Korns and surrounding herself around friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bouavanh Saysiry and younger sister Keochay (Kesa) Saysiry Thongkham. Linda is survived by her mother, Thongthip Louangsena Saysiry; husband of 38 years, Exon Phengsy; children, Lisa (Bao) Phengsy Le, Tina Phengsy, and Kita Phengsy; grandchildren, Bao-Nhi Mila Le and Bao-Quoc Kobe Le; and siblings: brothers - Bounthanh Saysiry, Soukanh Saysiry, Sounanh Saysiry, Lamphanh Saysiry, Lamphay Saysiry and sister - Thongsay (Vet) Saysiry Thavisack.

Visitation: Thursday, 12-6pm and Friday, 12-6pm. Traditional Buddhist Funeral: 1pm, Saturday, September 10, 2016; all at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services.
