Donald McClain Brummett

Donald McClain Brummett, servant of God and man, born in Erwin, TN on April 7, 1941, died October 30, 2016 in Wichita, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Beatrice Brummett. Don is survived by his soulmate, best friend, and wife of 53 years, Viola Smith Brummett; son, Eric Brummett and wife, Sharla; granddaughter, Dora; and siblings, Terry Brummett and wife, Donna, Robin Collins, Bill Brummett and wife, Anita, and Allen Brummett and wife, Louise. He retired from the Air Force as a CMSgt after 24 years of service. After his retirement, Don became a Methodist pastor serving churches in Texas and Tennessee. Celebration of life: 1 pm, Friday, November 4, 2016 at Calvary United Methodist Church, 2525 N. Rock Rd., Wichita, KS 67226.
