Rose Straw

Rose Straw, 79, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016. She was a very involved member of Calvary United Methodist Church. Rose was a member of the Ages & Stages Sunday School Class, Retired Fellowship, and UMW. She loved her family and they always remained the focus of her life. Rose enjoyed spending time with people and was known as a bit of a kidder. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas F. Straw in 1999. Rose is survived by her children, Julia Straw, Daniel (Mary Lou) Straw, Bruce (Linda) Straw, Heather (George III) Galanis; grandchildren, Ian Horning, Eric Horning, Greer Horning, Dana (Linda) Straw, Donna Straw, Daniele (Mike) Grimes, and Andrew Galanis; great-grandchildren, Issac Newton, Jaclyn Newton, Deanna Straw, Dana Straw, Jr., Austin Grimes, Logan Grimes, Nathan Grimes, and Kayden Grimes; and great-great grandson, Grayson. Visitation: Friday, December 2nd, from 1 to 7 pm with family present between 5 and 7 pm. Memorial service: 10 am, Saturday, December 3rd; both at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church, 2525 N. Rock Rd., Wichita, KS 67226.
