Geraldine F. Christopherson, 96, passed away Monday, January 16, 2017. She was born February 28, 1920 to Frank and Zoe (Johnson) Roth in Prairie du Chein, WI. Geraldine had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Geraldine enjoyed cross-stitching and sharing her creations. She loved animals and always found the good in the people that she encountered, never having a negative thing to say. Geraldine was known for her classic Pontiac named Big Bird. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Christopherson; and sisters, Gretchen Graul and Gertrude Wiseman. Geraldine is survived by her children, Roth (Joann) Christopherson and Christie Rose; grandchildren, Roth (Connie) Christopherson II, Robin (David) Christopherson-Sagamang, Aimee Rose, Jason Rose, and Alyssa Rose; great-grandchildren, Corinne Christopherson, Codey Christopherson, Corey Barnes, Aaron Barnes, Rachel Barnes, Kiera Christopherson, and Kallie Sagamang; nieces, Sherri Gaudy and ZoeAnn Graul; and nephew, Ron Wiseman. Visitation: Thursday, 1 to 8 pm with family present between 5 and 7 pm at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210. A private family graveside will take place at a later date at Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219.
