Joan Glancy

Joan Glancy, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2009. The visitation with the family present will be held from 6 - 9 PM Friday, in the Garden Chapel of Watson Reflection Pointe, 3201 S. Webb Road, with services scheduled for 3:00 PM Saturday, at Calvary United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Watson Reflection Pointe Cemetery. Joan was born on August 31, 1935 in Roll, Indiana, to Homer and Florence (Miller) Ross. She graduated from Roll High School, then married Jerry Glancy on December 30, 1956. She worked as a bank bookkeeper and teller over the years. She will be missed by her loving family, husband, Jerry, daughters, Vickie J. (Ed) Glancy Cannon, of Kechi, Valerie J. (Ron) Hazelton, of McPherson, Vanessa J. Glancy Harrison, of Wichita, brothers, Dale Ross, of Marion, IN, Roscoe Ross, of Montpelier, IN, sisters, Thelma Thomas, of Hartford City, IN, Irene James, of Van Buren, IN, 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchildren. Memorial has been established with Calvary United Methodist Church, 2525 N. Rock Road, Wichita, KS 67226.
