Survivors include his wife, Desiree J.; daughters, Izabella, and Alexandria, both of the home; parents, Rhonda and David Thissen, Wichita; sister, Marcia (John) Ward, Wichita; paternal grandparents, Bob and Rose Thissen, Augusta. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Dr. P. D. Grimsley.
