Earl B. Kersey

August 1, 1931 — July 12, 2006

Kersey, Earl B., 74, retired aircraft research and development engineer died Wednesday, July 12, 2006. A visitation with the family present will be held from 4-6PMSunday in Watson’s Garden Chapel. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00PM Monday at the Glenn Park Christian Church with burial following at El Paso Cemetery, Derby. Mr. Kersey was a former NRA instructor, a member of the American Society of Non Destructive Testing, and a very active member of Glenn Park Christian Church. He is survived by his beloved wife, Irene, cherished daughters, Becky (Larry) Saunders and Earlyn (Chad) Scott both of Derby, adored grandchildren, Brandon Saunders, Tyler Saunders, Nic (Sarah) Slayton, Cody Scott, Tiffany Kersey, Nicole Kersey, and Ami Kersey Davis, 2 great grandsons, 2 sister-in-laws, many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl B. and Helen L. (Bertrand) Kersey, sister, Betty Cannady, and son, Kelly Kersey. Memorial donations may be made to Kansas Humane Society, 4218 Southeast Boulevard, Wichita, KS 67210, or Glenn Park Christian Church, 2757 S. Glenn, Wichita, KS 67217.
