Jay Riepe

Riepe, Jay, 79, former Beech Aircraft Technical Engineer and self-employed factory sales representative, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2006. A visitation with the family will be from
6 - 8 PM Tuesday, in the Garden Chapel of Watson Funeral Home, with services scheduled for 10:00 AM Wednesday, at Countryside Christian Church, with graveside services at 3:00 PM, in Spring Hill Cemetery, Parsons, Kansas. Jay was born in Labette County, Kansas, to A. A. and Marie (Doudy) Riepe, November 13, 1926. He later married Margaret Ellen Clark, from Parsons, and were long time members of Countryside Christian Church. She preceded him in death in 1982. He is survived by his sons, Don (Jody) Riepe, of Guthrie, OK, Richard (Elizabeth) Riepe, Harrisonville, MO, Dean (Cheryl) Riepe, of Wichita, brother, Max (Mertie) Riepe, of Parsons, 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Friends can remember Jay with a memorial contribution to Countryside Christian Church, 1919 S. Rock Road, Wichita, KS 67207.
