Parker, Kenneth W. “Ken”, “Kenny”,
age 46 of Kansas City, MO, passed away August 11th 2006 as a result of an accidental drowning. Ken was doing what he loved, trout fishing on Rainbow Lake just west of Buena Vista, Colorado. Ken was a noted artist for Redken, teaching hair styling classes at many locations across the United States. He had only recently achieved his dream of becoming a partner in a salon, “A Shear Thing” in KC, KS. Kenny was preceded in death by his father Donald H. Parker (1964). He is survived by his mother Lois McKee, and his dad Dale McKee of Wichita, KS, his brother James Parker & wife Val of Los Angeles, CA, brother Gregory Parker & wife Nancy, sister Linda Bryant & husband Eddie Sr., brother Bryon McKee & wife Jennifer of Olathe, and brother Kent McKee & wife Kaye of Germantown, TN. Many nieces, nephews, and 100s of friends also survive him. A visitation will be held from 7:00-9:00 PM Friday in Watson’s Garden Chapel. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday August 19th, 11:00 AM at Riverside Christian Church, 1001 Litchfield,Wichita, KS. Graveside services 2:30 PM at the Burrton Cemetery, Burrton, KS.
