Wally Huxtable

Huxtable, Lew Wallace "Wally", Jr. Wally was born and raised in Wichita, graduating in the Class of 1954 from West High School. After proudly serving his country in the U. S. Marine Corps, he moved to California and raised a family. He passed away August 20, 2006 as a result of a motorcycle accident in Auburn, Ca., where he had lived since his retirement from Lockheed. Wally is survived by his mother Jo Huxtable, sister Beth (Ken) Michaels, brother Tom (Sherry), sons Glenn (Rene) and Mike (A) Huxtable, daughter Dana (Gil) Zapanta, five grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be make in Wally's honor to the U.C. Davis MIND Institute (916-703-0435), MS Society (1-800-344-4867), or the American Cancer Society (1-800-ACS-2345). Services will be at 12:00 noon Saturday Sept. 9, 2006 at Aldersgate Methodist Church, 7901 W. 21st ST. N.,Wichita, KS.
