Ewy, Jerry, age 63, owner of Docuplex Graphics, passed away Wednesday, June 30th, 2010. Visitation with the family is from 6-8pm Monday, in the Garden Chapel of Watson Reflection Pointe, 3201 S. Webb Road. Services are scheduled for 10:30am Tuesday, July 6th, 2010, at Calvary United Methodist Church, 2525 N. Rock Road. Jerry is survived by his loving family, wife, Cyndie, son Jay (Kristen) Ewy, of Andover, daughter Jennifer Ewy of Wichita, grandchildren Easton, Paige and Piper, parents Ralph and Doris Ewy, of Halstead, brothers LeRoy, of Halstead, Dr. Ken (Jane Ann), of Salina, and sister Carol (Tom) Rose, of Halstead. Jerry was preceded in death by his brother Doug Ewy. Jerry and Cyndie (Walton) were married April 4th, 1970. They recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. Jerry was a captain in the USAF and served his country in Viet Nam. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing in Alaska, hunting waterfowl, and big game hunting in Montana. Jerry was a big fan of WSU sports and often traveled to support the WSU basketball team. Jerry was best known for his unwavering love and support of his grandchildren and family, as well as his passion for Docuplex and the employees. He was a loved and respected employer. Jerry will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
