Evelyn Latham

Latham, Evelyn, age 90, went to be with her Father in Heaven on Tuesday, November 28, 2006, surrounded by her loving family. Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Saturday, at Broadway Christian Church. Evelyn retired after 25 years as a buyer with Walker Brothers Department Store in 1981. On June 1, 1935, she married Harold Latham, who preceded her in death in 1986. They made their home in Wichita and were members of Broadway Christian Church since 1942. She is survived by her daughter, Kay (Henry) Allen, of Wichita, grand-daughters, Pam (Thomas) Hacker, of Cloverdale, IN, Lori Allen, of Wichita, Susan (Alan) Hinrichs, of Springfield, IL, great-grandchildren, Michelle and Lisa Hinrichs, of Springfield, IL, Austin Allen, and David and Rachel Watson, of Wichita. Friends may remember Evelyn with a memorial to Broadway Christian Church, 1130 S. Broadway, Wichita, KS 67211.
