James D. Jernigan

Jernigan, Ph.D., James D., age 50, INVISTA Product Safety Manager, passed away Christmas morning at his home. Funeral services will be Friday, December 29, 11:00 AM, at The Church of the Nativity, Bibb Chapel, Huntsville, AL. He is survived by his loving wife, Betsy, and his son John, mother, Mary Evelyn Jernigan, Madison, AL, father, James John Jernigan, Greenville, AL, sister, Karen Jernigan, Madison, AL. He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Jernigan. He received his Undergraduate and Doctoral degrees from Vanderbilt University and served as a Captain in the U. S. Army Chemical Corp. He was formerly of Huntsville, AL and lived 17 years in Chesterton, IN. Memorial gifts may be made to Victory in the Valley, 3755 E.
