Alaya Lynn McGlasson

Alaya Lynn McGlasson, 3, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2024. She was born October 14, 2021 to Christopher and Alicia (Thompson) McGlasson in Wichita, KS. 

Alaya loved being outside, riding her bike to the park where she enjoyed swinging and going down the big slide. She enjoyed doing Crossfit with her daddy, dance parties with her mommy, catching butterflies with her "Auntie M," eating ice cream with her "Auntie B," fun-filled days at g-ma's house, and swimming in the summer months at grandma and nana's. Alaya touched the lives of everyone she met and somehow managed to get M&M's from them as well. She never missed the opportunity to attend birthday parties because she knew she'd get cake. She treasured being Buster's older sister. Alaya will be forever remembered as "Sweet Peaches."

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Robert and Carol Soukup, John Thompson, Jim and Doris Best, and Don McGlasson. Alaya is survived by her parents; brother, Kyler McGlasson; grandparents, Michael and Deborah Thompson, Rodney and Kim Best, Chris and Tammy McGlasson; aunts, Michaela Thompson, Breanna Thompson, Katelyn (Braden) Schuler, and Taylor (Cameron) Peak; cousins, Sophia, Eli, Cooper, and two on the way; great-grandparents, Bette Thompson, Larry and Bobbie Rinehart, and Anne McGlasson; and beloved dogs, Jade and Hazel.
