Wichita - Anthony Grant Oshel, Sr., entered the Kingdom of Heaven on August 7, 2022.
He was born September 10, 1978 in Wichita, the son of Steven and Julie Munoz Oshel. Growing up, he went to Harry Street Elementary School, Hamilton Middle School, and graduated in 1997 from South High School. He met a lot of lifelong friends that turned into family. He married his high school sweetheart, Shikila Holliday, and together they had three children. He especially loved his kids, they were his entire world.
Anthony met the Lord shortly after getting married. It changed the trajectory of his life and he was in every right, an untrained Bible scholar.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Nicholas Munoz, Martha and Wayne Oshel; and by his uncle, Nicholas Munoz, Jr.
He is survived by his children, Aiana, Amaya and Anthony Oshel, Jr.; his first grandchild expected in February 2023; grandmother, Rosa Cruz; parents, Steven and Julie Oshel; sisters, Angel Bianca Munoz and Stephanie Jackson and brother-in-law, Cameron; nieces and nephews, Selah, Emiliano, Olivia, Isaac, Saraii, Caius, and Seven.
Visitation will be Friday, August 12, 2022 from 3 to 8 pm at Reflection Pointe Funerals and Cremations, 3201 S. Webb Road, Wichita. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm. Celebration of Life will be 10 am Saturday, August 13, at The Center Church, 3700 E. Mt Vernon, Wichita.
