Boondarig Aswarithdumrong

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Boondarig Aswarithdumrong, affectionately known as Rick or Tai, was born on August 19, 1971, in Bangkok, Thailand and passed away peacefully at home on April 21, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.

For seven years, Rick served as a Quality Supervisor at Weckworth Manufacturing Inc., where he earned the respect of his colleagues for his meticulous attention to detail and unwavering work ethic. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, and his kindness extended beyond the workplace, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Rick's true passion, however, lay in his family. He cherished every moment spent with his wife, Sunita Paitoon, and their son, Tayden. Rick took great joy in preparing Tayden's favorite waffles on the weekend mornings and in teaching him math, nurturing Tayden's academic growth with love and patience. Rick's influence on Tayden's development will remain a guiding light for years to come. Rick also shared his home with two beloved dogs, Mango and Kiwi, who brought him much joy and comfort.

Outside of his family life, Rick loved playing golf with his senior peers and competing in friendly games of pickleball with friends. These activities were a reflection of his warm personality and his desire to build connections within his community.

Rick is survived by his loving wife, Sunita Paitoon, and his son, Tayden Aswarithdumrong, and his cherished dogs, Mango and Kiwi. Their lives will forever be enriched by the memories they shared, memories in laughter, love, and unforgettable moments together, including the warmth of family gatherings where Rick’s presence will be profoundly missed.

A visitation for Boondarig Aswarithdumrong will be held on April 26, 2025, at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services in Wichita, Kansas, from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM. The service will be followed by a reception at Thai Tradition, 650 N Carriage Pkwy, from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM. This gathering will provide an opportunity for family and friends to honor and celebrate Rick's life and the impact he made on all who knew him.

Rick's gentle spirit and nurturing heart will live on in the memories of his loved ones and the stories shared about him. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy of kindness and love will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
