Bounelay enjoyed watching Thai dramas, shopping, and getting dressed up to attend events. She loved spending time with her children and family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Nang Photsane. Bounelay is survived by her father, Souphone Photsane; husband, Joe Bouphasouth; children, Alison Bouphasouth, Alisa Bouphasouth, and Allen Bouphasouth; and siblings, Manivan Photsane, Lea Photsane, Mel Photsane, and Pan Photsane.
Visitation: Thursday, May 16, 2024 and Friday, May 17, 2024, from 3 to 6 pm. Traditional Buddhist Service: 2 pm, Saturday, May 18, 2024, all at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210.
