Cathy J. Raymond

Cathy J. Raymond, 67, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021. She was born March 1, 1954 to Harold and Helen (Alexander) Guy in Ottawa, KS.

Cathy went to Allen County Community Junior College after graduating Central Heights High School in 1972. In the spring of 1973 Cathy met Collwell Raymond and they were married November 30^th of that year.

Cathy was a dedicated wife, mother and grandma, and welcomed friends to her home, whether they were her friends or the friends of her children. She devoted the majority of her time and energy as a caregiver to family. She always put everybody before herself and gave her heart and soul to her family. Cathy loved embroidering, sewing, crafts, cooking, gardening, baking and especially going to garage sales.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Larry Guy and Terry Guy. Cathy is survived by her husband Collwell Raymond; her daughters, Crystal A. Kadrmas and husband, Arlis, Mindy G. (Raymond) Cleverley, and Tammy E. Raymond; sister, Carol Reekie; grandchildren, Isaiah Kadrmas, Isabella Kadrmas, Jonathan Raymond, Brandon Cleverley, Scottee Cleverley, Damion Cleverley, Surina Raymond, Levi Mitchelle, and Nova Garcia; adopted grandchildren, Ethan Raymond, Gavin Raymond, Corbin Raymond; and great-grandchildren, Henry Cleverley, and Athena Cleverley.

Visitation: Tuesday, October 26, 2021, from 3 to 8 pm with family present between 5 & 7 pm. Funeral: 1 pm, Wednesday, October 27, 2021, both at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
