Charles Lewis Morley

Charles Morley, 82, passed away Monday, April 21, 2025. He was born July 27, 1942 to Charles and Mary (Ziegler) Morley in Wichita, KS.

Charles served on the US Coral Sea in the Navy for 2 years. He then started his career as a lineman with KG&E, earned a degree in electrical engineering, and worked his way up to a supervisor role when he retired from Westar Energy. Charles enjoyed traveling the world with his wife, Joyce, whether it was visiting nearly every state in their motorhome or taking cruises around the globe.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 56 years, Joyce; and siblings, Teresa White, Alice Beckish, and Patrick Morley.

Charles is survived by his son, Thomas Morley; and siblings, Gene Morley, Kathleen Gideon, Barbara Schmitz, Mary Engelmann, Richard Morley, and Linda Hill.
