Denise Michelle Rubright

Denise Michelle Rubright, 53, passed away Friday, February 26, 2021.  She was born June 26, 1967 to Dennis and Karen (Eurek) Straub in Long Beach, CA. 

Denise was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She had a warm heart and a great spirit. Her beautiful smile and contagious laugh would light up any room. She was beautiful, funny, smart, gracious, organized and selfless. She was always there to listen and comfort her friends and family. She enjoyed meeting new people, playing card games, learning to cook with siblings and traveling to the casino, on cruises and to visit family. Her favorite place to spend time with family was Pamela’s Tea Room In Garden Grove, CA. She found passion in creating beautiful wreaths and sharing them with her loved ones. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her during difficult times and ultimately gave her peace. During her life, she was a hard-worker, finding employment as a marketing consultant, sales representative, real estate agent and a wreath maker. Her community service work included mentoring at-risk teens and resume writing and interview skills instructor.

Denise was a loving wife to her husband, Edward for 15 years. She greatly cherished her fur babies; Molly, Max and Maggie. She was very proud of her two daughters, Jessica and Crystal and her granddaughter, Harper. Her girls meant the world to her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Karen Straub; and husband, Edward Kaserkie.  Denise is survived by her father, Dennis (Genell) Straub; daughters, Jessica (Tyler Varnals) Rubright and Crystal Rubright; granddaughter, Harper Gregory; stepson, Brandon Kaserkie and siblings, Cindy (Rich) Woods, Sandy (Charles) Reynolds, Debbie (Martin) Straub, and Brandy (Cynthia) Straub.

A memorial service will take place at Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, CA on March 27^th at 11:00am.
