Eric L. Gillett

Eric L. Gillett, 38, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017 after a long battle with cancer at his home surrounded by his friends and family. He was born April 12, 1979 in Wichita, KS. He was preceded in death by his father, David Gillett; brother, Steve Gillett; and grandparents, Rex Berry, Betty Robbins, Edith Richards, and Chester and Olga Gillett. Eric is survived by his mother, Vicki Gillett; siblings, Julie (Joseph) Schartz, Gary (Dena) Gillett, and Brian Gillett; aunt, Linda (Rick) Deibert; uncles, Carey (Terry) Berry and Kevin (Barb) Berry; niece, Australia Schartz; nephew, Saber Schartz; many cousins, extended family, and friends. Visitation: Wednesday, from 1 to 8 pm. Funeral Service: 2 pm, Thursday, August 3, 2017, both at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, Kansas 67210. Graveside Service: 1 pm, Friday, August 4, 2017 at Oberlin Cemetery in Oberlin, KS. The family encourages guests to dress casually in their K-State attire.
