Gary W. Shepard

Gary W. Shepard, 80, passed away Friday, October 27, 2023.  He was born September 24, 1943 to Warren and Ruth (Kearns) Shepard in Lincoln, NE.  

Gary worked as an industrial engineer at Beech Aircraft for 40 years.  He operated his own machine shop at home for 45 years making aircraft parts for small businesses.  Gary enjoyed sailing, flying, golf, and snow skiing.  He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and papa.

He was preceded in death by his parents.  Gary is survived by his wife of 50 years, Rhonda Shepard; daughters, Jennifer (Travis) Herrington and Stephanie (Ben) Green; grandchildren, Wyatt Herrington, Eleanor Green, Owen Herrington, and Warren Green; brother, William (Stella) Shepard; and many nieces and nephews. 

Memorial Service: 2 pm, Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210.
